Submission FAQs and Troubleshooting

I’m trying to submit my form, but it’s not working/I’ve encountered an error.

I’m trying to submit my form, but the Submit button is not clickable.  

Be sure to double check if you have completed all of the required fields on the form, as well as connected at least one social media platform (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.). If you’ve double checked these two items and are still having issues, please let us know at ambassadorsupport@fohr.co. 

I tried to connect my influencer Instagram account, but it connected the wrong account. 

You can switch the account out by going to Fohr.co, clicking "Login", and then clicking on your Settings in the top right corner. Scroll down to where your social platforms are connected and click "Disconnect" on Instagram in order to connect the right account. 

Just keep in mind as you're reconnecting that, even though you can easily switch between accounts in the Instagram app, each Instagram account does have its own unique username and password. So if you've forgotten a password for an account, you'll want to reset that before connecting so you can properly log in. 

I want to apply, but I’m not comfortable connecting my Instagram 

You can rest assured that Fohr is a trusted Instagram partner that was granted access to their API (the information flow between Instagram and our platform) after a rigorous application and approval process. Additionally, we do not have access to your Instagram password, as you're actually logging in to Instagram directly when you click on "Connect" from our application form. 

That brand that you’re applying to will only have access to your content and your engagement statistics. There just needs to be a social connection in order for them to be able to more accurately report on their partnerships. 

When I try to connect to Instagram, it says my password is incorrect. 

Unfortunately, this part of the platform is powered directly by Instagram, so it's not not something we're able to look into further. If you're sure that the password is correct, this would need to be resolved directly with Instagram. 

However, you could try resetting your password. This should solve the issue. When logging in to Instagram, you can click "Forgot password?", which will send you an email with instructions on resetting your password. Once you've done so, you can return to your application to finish connecting your account. 

I have two Instagram accounts that I want to connect to my profile. 

Unfortunately, the platform isn’t built to be able to handle multiple accounts from the same social platform (Instagram, Facebook, etc.). Should you want to present both Instagram accounts for consideration to the ambassador program, you would actually need to complete the onboarding form for each of the social accounts (from the same platform) you want to connect, with a separate email address for each.

I noticed that the application is asking for an Instagram Business account. Will a Creator account work? 

A Creator profile will work just fine! You just need to have an associated Facebook Page to go along with it. You can find more information here.

Am I required to have all of the social platforms listed on the application form? 

At least one social platform of your choice (we highly recommend it being an Instagram Business or Creator account, with a Facebook Page attached) is required to complete the application form, however adding additional socials is optional.
